Hi, COOL !!!!! Do you have any photos of the Aerial Applicators fleet? I currently own and am restoring N4172A I may restore it as tanker 18. I grew up in Magna Utah and remember seeing these same TBMs as a young boy, I bugged my dad to stop by and look at them every time we drove past the airport, he gave in a couple of times I remember looking at the glossy black paint and being able to see the shadows of the Navy paint job !! On one trip I took my camera and shot a whole roll of film, dropped it of at Walgreens for developing. Much to my horror when I picked the film up I opened the envelope only to discover they mixed up the film and I recieved some little girls birthday party ! In 1973 my family moved to Minesota, I kept track of those same TBMs over the years one is restored to flying codition and is on display in New Mexico,One crashed in Canada and was recoverd restored and is on display at a museum in Rode Island, another crashed in canada was recovered restored as a fire bomber and is displayed at the Canadian fire fighters museum, another is airworthy but stored as a tanker in Canada.yet another crashed in Canada very badly damaged but still there. I always hoped to own one of the TBMs and a few years ago N4172A was about to be scraped, I jumped on a plane to Florida dissassembled it and brought it home for a complete restoration to flying condition!!I have already restored a couple of TBMs one being Brad Deckerts TBM from Peru Ill.It had been a tanker and was in rough shape, Its now one of the nicest TBMs flying and is very complete with rockets APS-4 radar a relica torpedo radios turret ect.His web site is tbmavenger.com How much is your decal sheet? I would be interested in getting one Thanks Mike

Nice job PAUL!!..the bigger pics are OK.
You could find, on the "web", some internal pics of dual/two seaters mustangs...
You can find two seat details also with "cavalier mustangs": II & turbo III series, not only w' TP/F-51D's...on "real/official" 2seaters, the rear canopy is different in shape.
American fellas modelers might have pics or links; otherwise, you can copy details from a "cavalier turbo III mustang" scale model, this plane is 2seater : the brand "Heritage Aviation"(U.K.) makes this conversion at 1/72 and 1/48 scale...plus at '72 scale you dont have to extra-detail !!
Another track is to go THERE: http://modelingmadness.com/reviews/korean/us/cleavertf51.htm ; ask the author about references he got to make his "ICM 1/48 TF-51D Mustang"

We hear your request, and will work on a few more "standard" schemes. Many of the Chinese schemes are all problematic with the way the stripes wrap around the nose. As long as the modeler is aware of the extra work, we will do our part to provide extra striping material, which we normally include in the sets that require it. Thank you for your comments and input to improve our products!

Haha I am not being negative; I would just like to see some more of the original colour schemes released rather than 'one-offs' which would be rather niche. Couldn't a decal be made where there are the stripes for the nose, but the modeller cuts each stripe out and applies it carefully to their own taste to conform to the nose? Then some spare stripes to apply over it in the case that it may not be exactly right or the line is not curved enough or it gets slightly wrecked, to make sure it looks just right. Just wondering because Draw definitely produces plenty of nice decals that have been a pleasure to use on my model aircraft.

I am not sure we have ever had so many negative comments about releasing a new decal. The biggest problem with the China Eastern scheme is the multiple stripes that wrap around the nose. Getting the decal to actually wrap and conform around the nose and keep the stripes straight is probably not possible. We could design a decal that looks pretty but is near impossible to apply, but we choose not to go down this road, sorry.
