I finally managed to catch a few Tornados from RAF II Sqn which is spending a month training at DMAFB in Tucson, Arizona this spring. I hope the “Fin” crews are enjoying the warm desert climate and severe clear days. Click on the photo to be linked to our DMAFB Gallery.
What better way to pass the time after visiting the AMARG facility at DMAFB than to take approach shots of the active landing traffic?? The “biggee” of the day was the very pleasant surprise of the E-4B landing in absolutely perfect conditions. This was in addition to the nice parade of A-10 “Wart Hogs” and an EC-130 in the pattern as well. Click on the photo to be linked to the other photos in this gallery.
As much as I hate to say it, our technical issues with the printing machine at our printer continue. The good news is that the first batch of prints will be sent to us next week, and should be in our hands at the end of the week, around April 6th. This will allow us to start completing some of the oldest open orders we have. Progress will be slow, but fingers crossed we can clear the other open orders in the two weeks following the first batch of prints.
If for any reason anyone wants a full or partial refund on any unshipped order please let us know. We will either refund your order in full, or ship what we have on hand and refund any amount for the missing item(s).
We sincerely apologize for this unprecedented delay, and we are working as quickly as we can to get back up to full speed.
Sincerely,
Greg Drawbaugh

When in Tucson, Arizona you have to visit the “Bone Yard” or as it is officially known as AMARG Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group. The tour is only $7 and is run as part of the Pima Air and Space Museum. The tours lasts one hour, and you are on a bus with very clean but tinted windows. All of the photos here were from inside the bus, except the last few which were shot from outside the fence, during the tour on March 29th, 2012. We saw everything from a B-57 to the AL-1 laser test bed 747-400F. Click on the photo to be linked to our AMARG Gallery.
