Northwest Orient 727-100s

Description

Northwest Orient Airlines took delivery of their first 727-100 (N461US) on November 11,1964. Eventually 20 of the type were operated by the carrier, as well as 12 727-100C convertible freighters. These were followed by the first NWA 727-200s in 1968. The markings on this sheet represent the second scheme worn by the airplane. The type continued in service with Northwest through two additional livery changes.
