“Speckled Trout” KC-135E

Description

VC-135E 57-2589 has served as a command transport for many years, including assignments with the Commander of Strategic Air Command, Commander of Pacific Air Forces, and current with the Chief of Staff of the Air Force. As the personal transport of the Chief of Staff, the aircraft is now known as the Speckled Trout, replacing and taking the name from the long-serving original Speckled Trout – C-135C 61-2669, which was retired in 2006.
