Description
Following the 2001 bankruptcy and collapse of Swissair, the airline’s assets were sold to Crossair, which had previously been the regional partner airline of Swissair. Crossair changed its name to become Swiss International Airlines and took up where Swissair had left off. Prior to its meltdown, Swissair ordered Airbus A340-600 aircraft; however, after the demise of the airline, that order was cancelled. Swiss International elected to acquire 15 of the smaller A340-300 instead which this decal depicts.
