Description
As US Airways began to transition the East Coast Shuttle operation from the Boeing 727s that had served for years, other mainline aircraft were employed before the delivery of new Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft. The most unique of these was a single Douglas DC-9 that wore a hybrid paint scheme featuring the basic colors of the late 80s USAir livery, and the tail markings of the then new color scheme.
