Hong Kong-based Cathay Dragon (a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific, formerly Dragonair) ordered A321neo aircraft in 2017 to renew its narrowbody fleet. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 would scuttle those plans, as parent Cathay Pacific elected to shut down the Cathay Dragon operation as a cost-cutting survival measure. Two aircraft had been painted by Airbus prior to planned delivery. Both were repainted into Cathay Pacific colors and stored in Hong Kong. Their future remains in question.

Cathay Pacific Cargo 747-400Fs 2015 Scheme Released
In the Fall of 2015, Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific introduced an updated color scheme and corporate branding. Cathay’s Cargo aircraft are now also wearing the new colors. Our decal provides the markings for the airline’s fleet of six 747-400F freighters.

Cathay Dragon A330s Released
In November 2016, Hong Kong-based Dragonair changed its identity to Cathay Dragon. The new branding aligns with parent company Cathay Pacific, and features the brushwing logo. The first aircraft painted was Airbus A330-300 B-HYQ. This decal provides the markings for any of the 19 aircraft in the fleet.
Our latest Next Generation DIGITAL Silk decal is available in both 1:144 and 1:200 scales, and it joins our previous release for the Cathay Dragon A320s. Click on either image to be linked into our secure store site.

Cathay Pacific 2015 Scheme A330s Released
In the Fall of 2015, Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific introduced an updated color scheme and corporate branding. The first aircraft painted was a 777-367ER. The new colors are now being applied to the fleet of 42 Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Our latest Next Generation Digital Silk decal is available in both 1:144 and 1:200 scales, and it joins our previous releases for the 777-300ER and A350-900 in Cathay Pacific’s 2015 scheme.
