As a founding member of the Skyteam Alliance, Delta Air Lines has painted numerous aircraft in the special Skyteam color scheme. This includes four 757-200s. We are offering two separate decals for the two different door arrangements used by Delta. Delta Air Lines Sideways and Standard “Widget” DC-9-14s Released
Delta Air Lines was the first operator of the venerable Douglas DC-9, placing their first DC-9-14 into service on December 8, 1965. The initial scheme on the DC-9 featured a sideways “Widget” on the tail which lasted a few short years before being rotated 90 degrees for the more familiar look that lasted until 1973 when the fleet was sold to Southern Airways. We are pleased to offer both versions of the scheme for the DC-9-14s, and we also include the inaugural titles for the Sideways Widget scheme.
