“Huntress III”, N471R, flew for some time in the USA in the markings of the 350th FS, 353rd FG including a stint as a racer as Race 71. It moved to Germany in about 2007 to become D-FBUN named “Jay Hawk Jallopy”, the wartime aircraft of Albert Brimer.

After competing in the 1964 Harold’s Club Transcontinental Trophy Dash and at the Reno Air Races, Chuck Lyford continued to race his all-white P-51D-25 at Reno placing second in the Gold Race in 1965 and dropping out of the Gold Race in 1966.

“Sierra Sue II” recently emerged from a state-of-the-art restoration recreating its own original wartime condition. “Sierra Sue II”, NL1751D, has had a distinguished, continuous existence performing virtually all the roles undertaken by civilianised P-51s.
“Shangrila” pays tribute to the wartime 4th Fighter Group Mustang of Capt. Don Gentile, the leading 8th Air Force ace. Our decal depicts “Shangrila” as it appeared at the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends in 2007.
NL251BP was owned by Bob Pond for many years and still wore a personalized military-style scheme in 1999 as it appeared at the Gathering of Mustangs in 1999.
“Lady Alice” currently flies in the 364th Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group scheme. We are releasing two different sets for “Lady Alice,” one for this current scheme and one for how “Lady Alice” appeared at the Gathering of Mustangs in 1999.
