German Cargo DC-8-70Fs

Description

Established in 1977 as a non-IATA subsidiary of Lufthansa German Airlines, German Cargo operated cargo flights on behalf of Lufthansa. Initially, Boeing 707s were used, followed by Douglas DC-8s, and then later Boeing 747-230s. German Cargo, and its aircraft, became Lufthansa Cargo in 1993. This decal provides the markings for CFM-powered DC-8-70s, five of which were operated.
