In 2005, Air Canada introduced their current “Ice Blue” paint scheme with a modernized “Frosted Leaf” version of their maple leaf tail logo.  This scheme is used on Air Canada’s fleet of 15 Embraer 175’s.

Use this set on the Authentic Airliners resin E175, or “cheat” and delete two windows on each side and use on the Hasegawa E170 kit, just like Frank Cuden did with this sharp build of the Hasegawa kit.  To match the Air Canada “Ice Blue” paint, we suggest using white pearl nail polish with a few drops of blue paint added to achieve the correct shade.  This is the mix Frank Cuden perfected and used on his gorgeous E170.  Look for a full build report including the fingernail polish technique in a future issue of Random Thoughts, the Canadian IPMS publication.
