After the purchase of Alaska Coastal Airlines in 1967, Alaska Airlines became a Grumman Goose operator.  Alaska operated N2751 from 1967 until 1972, first in the “Golden Nugget” scheme and later in the “Totem” scheme.  Tim Bradley built this Sword 1:72 Grumman Goose and the sharp looking diorama for Alaska Airlines.  Tim, who also designed the decal, used Woodland Scenics people, rocks and freight, and the water is Envirotex Lite resin.  The green paint on the engine cowlings is Mr. Color Green #6.

In addition to this 1:72 set, the “Totem” Goose is also available in 1:48 scale as well as the “Golden Nugget” scheme in 1:72 and 1:48 scales.  Click on the photos to be linked to larger views.
