Salt Lake City, Utah based Western Airlines operated over 50 737-200s. The first ones arrived in 1968, and the initial ones were delivered in the classic “Indian Head” scheme. Starting in 1969, Western rebranded into the “Swizzle Stick” scheme which featured a bold red stripe with a large “W” on the fuselage, named after Western’s iconic cocktail stirring stick with the same large “W”. This scheme lasted until 1983 when it was replaced by the final “Arrow, aka Bud Light” scheme. Our decal depicts Western’s “Swizzle Stick” scheme on their 737-200 fleet.
