American Airlines was the world's largest operator of the DC-9-80, aka "Super 80." At the high point, American's fleet numbered over 350 frames after the TWA merger. The MD80 fleet was phased out in favor of more modern types, but American will long be remembered for its red, white and blue fleet of polished aluminum MD80s. -
Delta Air Lines operates 77 of the -800 model of the venerable 737 including some recent second-hand frames from GOL. Our set provides markings for the any ship in the entire Delta 737-800 fleet including the white belly logo. -
In 2019, the United Kingdom ordered 5 Boeing Wedgetail aircraft to replace its fleet of E-3D Sentries. The order was later reduced to three aircraft. The first aircraft flew in 2024. The Wedgetails will be operated by No.8 Squadron out of RAF Lossimouth. This decal provides the markings for these three aircraft. -
American Airlines is a large operator of the Boeing 737-800 with a fleet numbering over 280 of the type. Coinciding with the delivery of the flagship 777-300ER, American replaced its iconic red, white and blue scheme with a new scheme. This decal depicts the American 737-800s in this new scheme. -
In 2021, Germany ordered five P-8A Poseidon aircraft to replace its interim fleet of P-3C Orions. The first aircraft will be delivered in 2024. In the Spring of 2022, seven additional airframes were ordered, to bring the future fleet to 12. This decal has been updated to provide the markings for the first five aircraft of the German Navy’s fleet. -
Chico, California based Aero Union was the largest air tanker operation in the United States. Over the years, Aero Union has operated a variety of types including the B-17, DC-4 and the P-3 Orion. Aero Union operated a fleet of eight P-3s under contract to the US Forest Service until shutting down in 2012. Our Next Generation DIGITAL Silk decal features double-struck white ink in order for this decal to remain opaque over the high visibility red markings. -
In July 2017, Delta Air Lines became the first North American operator of the Airbus A350, when it took delivery of its first A350-900. This decal provides the markings for the A350-900 in current Delta colors.

How did we get our Name?
My father is a US Army-trained draftsman, and he always signed his drawings with the initials “DRAW.” Since we have to DRAW our decals, and DRAW is also the first four letters of my last name, it seemed to be a natural name for our company.
What is the idea behind DRAW Decal?
I produce airline decals that normally would not be popular enough to justify mass producing. Each decal is printed as demand warrants, one page at a time by a professional print house. This makes for slow production, but it allows us to individually inspect each decal and to also update the decal sets as the need arises. While these production sets are all currently available, they are only produced (i.e. printed) as they are ordered. I have no large pile of unsold, unpopular decals to contend with this way. Our decals are as close to custom-made as possible.
Who creates your art?
The art work for our decals is created by a group of artists, with each one contributing sets of their own unique design and preference. Currently, DRAW Decal offers decals designed by: Tim Bradley, Mike Egan, Norm Filer, Mike Jernfors, Jeff Thomsen and yours truly, Greg Drawbaugh. Each set is identified by whom designed it unless I was the one who designed it.
How do I do that?
Our decals are printed in our exclusive Next Generation DIGITAL Silk process using a large format digital printer that prints white ink. We do NOT sell ANY laser-printed decals. Laser printers are for printing instruction sheets, not printing decals.
We are made the switch to our latest Next Generation DIGITAL Silk process to provide what we believe to be among the highest quality decals in the industry. We also want to be able to provide subjects that just would not print well using any other process. Quality and value have always been our driving force, and we continue to push the limits of what our printer and artwork is capable of producing. We operate under a continual improvement process for all of our decals.
Do you run out of stock?
No, as I print decals only as they are ordered. This ensures that the decals are fresh and never out of stock. This also allows me to make corrections and additions to each set as they occur.
Once applied, these decals will look just like they were painted on, rather than just “stickers” applied over a paint job. Remember, the art of decaling is making it look like you did not use any decals!
