At one time, Emery Worldwide owned a large fleet of Boeing 727-100 aircraft. Throughout most of their time with Emery, the aircraft were operated under contract by Ryan International Airlines in Emery colors. The aircraft were acquired beginning in the 1980s, and originally operated in a mostly red color scheme. In the late 80s, Emery adopted a new livery featuring red and green stripes depicted by this set. -
USAir introduced a new corporate color scheme in August 1989, at the time of the final integration of Piedmont Airlines. The aircraft were overall bare metal, with light gray wings, wing-body fairing, horizontal stabilizers, #2 inlet section, gear doors, and radome. -
The decal depicts the first, and flashy looking, 767 tanker for the Italian Air Force. You will need raid your parts box for the refueling boom and wing "Buddy Tank" assemblies. Numerous photos are on line, and our best suggestion for the gray is FS 16251. -
Airborne Express operated 25 767-200s as cargo aircraft, but they were not fitted with a main deck cargo door during their freighter conversions (they utilized Airborne Express' mini-containers, which fit through entry doors). The majority of the fleet were ex-ANA with GE engines, and a few were ex-TWA with Pratt & Whitney engines. -
When Braniff was awarded the DFW-LGW route, the leased American Airlines 747-123 N9666 from Jan 1978 through June 1980. The American red, white and blue cheatline was replaced with Braniff orange creating this unique "Silver Bullet" scheme. -
Long time Douglas customer United Airlines was an early operator of the DC-10 trijet taking delivery of the first of an initial batch of 25 DC-10-10s in 1971. All 25 were delivered in the classic United “Friend Ship” scheme which our decal depicts. -
After UTA was merged into Air France, UTA’s five DC-10s migrated into the Air France fleet and lasted only a short while thereafter. Our decal depicts the sole DC-10 which was repainted into Air France colors - N54649. -
Set contains one ship set of wing coroguard (inspar panels) for the wings and stabs of the Hasegawa DC-10 kit. Decal is designed to exactly fit inside the scribing on the Hasegawa kit only. This set is a darker gray color. All scale options OTHER THAN the 1:200 version are rescaled versions of the 1:200 set and may or may not exactly fit your model. Please also note the Hasegawa kits are DC-10-30 / -40s which have longer wings than a DC-10-10 / -15. -
In 2022, Qantas placed an order for multiple aircraft types with Airbus. Included were A220-300s for domestic routes. The airline has 29 of the type on order as of 2025, with five frames delivered. The aircraft, operated by National Jet Systems, are replacing 717s in the QantasLink operation. This decal provides the markings for the first few A220-300 fleet that wear the standard colors.

How did we get our Name?
My father is a US Army-trained draftsman, and he always signed his drawings with the initials “DRAW.” Since we have to DRAW our decals, and DRAW is also the first four letters of my last name, it seemed to be a natural name for our company.
What is the idea behind DRAW Decal?
I produce airline decals that normally would not be popular enough to justify mass producing. Each decal is printed as demand warrants, one page at a time by a professional print house. This makes for slow production, but it allows us to individually inspect each decal and to also update the decal sets as the need arises. While these production sets are all currently available, they are only produced (i.e. printed) as they are ordered. I have no large pile of unsold, unpopular decals to contend with this way. Our decals are as close to custom-made as possible.
Who creates your art?
The art work for our decals is created by a group of artists, with each one contributing sets of their own unique design and preference. Currently, DRAW Decal offers decals designed by: Tim Bradley, Mike Egan, Norm Filer, Mike Jernfors, Jeff Thomsen and yours truly, Greg Drawbaugh. Each set is identified by whom designed it unless I was the one who designed it.
How do I do that?
Our decals are printed in our exclusive Next Generation DIGITAL Silk process using a large format digital printer that prints white ink. We do NOT sell ANY laser-printed decals. Laser printers are for printing instruction sheets, not printing decals.
We are made the switch to our latest Next Generation DIGITAL Silk process to provide what we believe to be among the highest quality decals in the industry. We also want to be able to provide subjects that just would not print well using any other process. Quality and value have always been our driving force, and we continue to push the limits of what our printer and artwork is capable of producing. We operate under a continual improvement process for all of our decals.
Do you run out of stock?
No, as I print decals only as they are ordered. This ensures that the decals are fresh and never out of stock. This also allows me to make corrections and additions to each set as they occur.
Once applied, these decals will look just like they were painted on, rather than just “stickers” applied over a paint job. Remember, the art of decaling is making it look like you did not use any decals!
