Dutch charter carrier Transavia leases out their aircraft to other airlines for short-term leases. One such lease was a six-month old 737-800 to Aloha Airlines during the winter 2007-2008 season to operate in between Sacramento and Maui.

Started in 1965, Transavia is the second largest airline in Holland. While wholly-owned by KLM, Transavia operates independently with its fleet of 737s. Each year Minnesota-based Sun Country Airlines leases 737-800s from Transavia for the busy winter season. Transavia recently updated their livery, and PH-HZJ is the first to appear in winter service with Sun Country in this interesting hybrid livery.
Transavia is the low-cost brand for the Air France – KLM Group. Transavia updated the previous transavia.com livery in early 2015. Each aircraft carries a combination of leisure “badges” under the fuselage, with this set depicting the combination adorning PH-HZE and PH-HZN. In 2011, Transavia held a contest to pick their new slogan. The winner, among 110,000 entries, was 16-year-old Robert van der Vlies. For a short while one Transavia 737-800 and one 737-700 wore the new slogan “daar word je vrolijk van!” which in English means “It Makes you Happy!” and both sets are available in 1:144 and 1:200 scales.
