At one time, Emery Worldwide owned a large fleet of Boeing 727-100 aircraft. Throughout most of their time with Emery, the aircraft were operated under contract by Ryan International Airlines in Emery colors. The aircraft were acquired beginning in the 1980s, and originally operated in a mostly red color scheme. In the late 80s, Emery adopted a new livery featuring red and green stripes depicted by this set. -
Prior to the termination of a long-term contract in 2004, Ryan International Airlines operated 11 Boeing 727-200 freighters for Emery Worldwide, in full Emery colors. The aircraft were owned by Emery, but leased to Ryan. Eight non-advanced ex-United Airlines 727-222s were acquired in 1994-95, followed by three Advanced 727-225s in 1999 (coming from Northwest Airlines). -
Emirates Airlines is the world’s largest operator of the Boeing 777. While the bulk of the Emirates 777 fleet is the longer -300ER, Emirates does operate a smaller fleet of ten ultra long range 777-200LRs which our set depicts. -
Emirates Airlines of the UAE operates the largest widebody airline aircraft fleet in history. This includes the world's largest fleet of Boeing 777s. It was therefore appropriate that the airline took delivery of the 1000th 777 produced - 777-31HER A6-EGO. The aircraft featured prominent 1000th 777 titles on the rear fuselage, but these titles have since been removed. We set up this decal to allow either the use of the kit's open windows or our standard gray windows. -
Emirates Airlines of the UAE operates the largest widebody airline aircraft fleet in history. This includes the world's largest fleet of Boeing 777s. The Triple-Seven fleet includes a sub-fleet of 114 777-300ERs (also the world's largest fleet of that specific variant), with more on order. This decal provides the markings for the standard current scheme on the 777-300ER. We set up this decal to allow either the use of the kit's open windows or our standard gray windows. -
Emirates operated a small fleet of eight ex-Singapore Airlines A340-300s. The last four left the fleet in 2016. Our decal depicts the standard Emirates scheme used on these Airbus A340-300s. -
Emirates Airlines is the world’s largest operator of the Boeing 777. In 1996, Emirates took delivery of their very first 777, a non-ER 777-200 powered by Rolls-Royce Trent engines. Our decal depicts the early Emirates scheme applied to the nine 777-200 / -200ERs delivered to Emirates.

How did we get our Name?
My father is a US Army-trained draftsman, and he always signed his drawings with the initials “DRAW.” Since we have to DRAW our decals, and DRAW is also the first four letters of my last name, it seemed to be a natural name for our company.
What is the idea behind DRAW Decal?
I produce airline decals that normally would not be popular enough to justify mass producing. Each decal is printed as demand warrants, one page at a time by a professional print house. This makes for slow production, but it allows us to individually inspect each decal and to also update the decal sets as the need arises. While these production sets are all currently available, they are only produced (i.e. printed) as they are ordered. I have no large pile of unsold, unpopular decals to contend with this way. Our decals are as close to custom-made as possible.
Who creates your art?
The art work for our decals is created by a group of artists, with each one contributing sets of their own unique design and preference. Currently, DRAW Decal offers decals designed by: Tim Bradley, Mike Egan, Norm Filer, Mike Jernfors, Jeff Thomsen and yours truly, Greg Drawbaugh. Each set is identified by whom designed it unless I was the one who designed it.
How do I do that?
Our decals are printed in our exclusive Next Generation DIGITAL Silk process using a large format digital printer that prints white ink. We do NOT sell ANY laser-printed decals. Laser printers are for printing instruction sheets, not printing decals.
We are made the switch to our latest Next Generation DIGITAL Silk process to provide what we believe to be among the highest quality decals in the industry. We also want to be able to provide subjects that just would not print well using any other process. Quality and value have always been our driving force, and we continue to push the limits of what our printer and artwork is capable of producing. We operate under a continual improvement process for all of our decals.
Do you run out of stock?
No, as I print decals only as they are ordered. This ensures that the decals are fresh and never out of stock. This also allows me to make corrections and additions to each set as they occur.
Once applied, these decals will look just like they were painted on, rather than just “stickers” applied over a paint job. Remember, the art of decaling is making it look like you did not use any decals!
