In 2016, the transport wing of the Mexican Air Force acquired three 737-800s to be used as troop transports. The 737s replaced their long-serving 727-200s, and are painted in a dark charcoal gray paint scheme. Jin Air is a low-cost airline based in South Korea, and is a subsidiary of Korean Air. The airline began operations in 2008 with a Boeing 737-800. The fleet has grown to 23 737-800s. Transavia “Staatsloterij” 737-800 PH-HZS Released
Started in 1965, Transavia is the second largest airline in Holland. While wholly-owned by KLM, Transavia operates independently with its fleet of 737s. All Nippon Airways 737-800s Released
After initially acquiring the smaller 737-700, All Nippon Airways (ANA) started taking delivery of the larger 737-800, eventually acquired a 40 strong fleet. Our decal depicts ANA’s standard “Triton Blue “ markings with the added “Inspiration of Japan” titles. Our Next Generation DIGITAL Silk decal is available in both 1:144 and 1:200 scales.
United “eco-skies” 737-800 Released
In 2011 Continental Airlines initiated a program to save fuel under the umbrella of their “Eco-Skies” program. Improved flight planning, single-engine taxiing, winglets and other initiatives are being used to reduce the airline’s total consumption of jet fuel. To commemorate the program, 737-800 N76516 had its livery modified with special “eco-skies” markings including green blended winglets. When Continetal merged with United, the aircraft was updated with United titles and fleet numbers. Our latest Next Generation DIGITAL Silk decal is available in both 1:144 and 1:200 scales. Sunwing “Jameson” 737-800 Released
In October 2016, Sunwing operated 737-800 C-FPRP on a charter to Dublin, Ireland to transport winners from a competition in Toronto. The competition was sponsored by Irish Distillers, and the Sunwing scheme was modified by adding a green tail with Jameson titles and logo. This short-lived scheme was certainly unique and did not appear to last very long.
