In 2016, ASL Airlines of Ireland purchased TNT Airways from TNT Express. The airline was rebranded ASL Airlines Belgium. As a result, ASL inherited TNT’s fleet of 747-400F freighters. ASL has since disposed of TNT’s four original 747s, and now operates five airframes sourced from Asian carriers. This decal provides the markings for the five 747-400Fs currently in the ASL fleet. British Airways Union Flag 747-200 Released
This set depicts the “Union Flag” scheme first unveiled along with the “Utopia” tails British Airways unveiled in the late 1990s. The Union Flag scheme later became the standard British Airways scheme, and 747-200 G-BDXB was the sole 747-200 to be repainted into this standard scheme prior to its retirement in 2001. When Braniff was awarded the DFW-LGW route, the leased American Airlines 747-123 N9666 from Jan 1978 through June 1980. Flying Tigers Initial 747 Freighters
In August 1974, The Flying Tiger Line, better known simply as Flying Tigers, took delivery of its first Boeing 747. The aircraft was a former American Airlines frame. In honor of the airline’s roots in the famed American Volunteer Group (AVG) in World War II China, the first aircraft, N800FT, was initially adorned with a shark’s mouth on the nose like the world famous P-40s had worn. Three aircraft were delivered in these colors before a revised scheme was implemented.

Silk Way West “Albino” 747-400Fs
Silk Way West Airlines of Azerbaijan acquired two ex-Malaysia Airlines 747-4H6Fs in 2018. These two 747s are operated in an all-white “albino” version of the standard Silk Way scheme.

British Airways World Cargo 747-8Fs Released
In late 2011, UK-based Global Supply Systems took delivery of three 747-8F freighters. The aircraft replaced three 747-400Fs that the airline operated on behalf of British Airways World Cargo.
