We have updated and split our former FedEx MD11/DC10 set that used to cover both the MD-11 and DC-10s into separate sets, one each for the MD-11Fs and DC-10/MD-10Fs. We have added new fine details including the plugged passenger windows.
During the 1990s, Garuda Indonesia operated a fleet of McDonnell-Douglas MD-11 aircraft. The aircraft wore the airline’s then-current scheme featuring a dark blue tail and winglets. This decal provides the markings for the nine aircraft operated directly by the airline.
The MD-11 was the larger, upgraded version of the McDonnell Douglas DC-10 trijet. Our decal depicts the MD-11 prototype adorned with the 27 logos of the airlines and leasing companies that placed orders for the trijet.
